About Us

The American Dream Team is a group of California residents working with the building industry to reduce housing costs, promote responsible planning and increase homeownership opportunities. Working together with a strong voice, the team speaks out on legislation and local ordinances that directly affect the cost and supply of housing.

This website is a public service resource brought to you by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, a regional trade association representing builders, contractors, engineers, planners and many others involved in housing Southern California’s growing population. The association works with community resident, leaders and elected officials to find solutions to the region’s housing crisis.

Only through increasing the housing supply and reducing costly, overburdensome regulations can Californians realize the American Dream of homeownership and a heightened quality of life.
